SPECTRUM AND HISTOPATHOLOGICAL PATTERN OF GASTROINTESTINAL MALIGNANCIES: A TEN-YEAR RETROSPECTIVE HOSPITAL REGISTRY BASED CROSS SECTIONAL STUDY.

Abstract : Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers present a major global public health challenge due to their high morbidity and mortality. The pattern of gastrointestinal malignancies varies across geographical regions and is influenced by genetic, cultural, dietary, and socio-economic factors. Studying these patterns facilitates the identification of high-risk groups, the recommendation of preventive measures, and the implementation of appropriate screening strategies in vulnerable populations. This study aims to

Nitrite Transformation using Microbial Consortium

Abstract : High concentrations of nitrite and nitrate are commonly observed in aquaculture wastewater and are recognized as a major environmental concern. Sustainable aquaculture faces challenges avoiding environmental damages. In recent years, removal of nitrogen waste has become a key focus worldwide. Therefore, a safe, environment friendly and economically feasible method is very essential to treat nitrite, nitrate that are toxic and cause harmful effects on the aquatic ecosystem. This study addresses t

Clinical Profile, and Outcomes of Pediatric Chronic Kidney Disease: A Single Center Experience in the Jazan Region, Saudi Arabia

Abstract : Chronic kidney disease (CKD) remains a major cause of morbidity in children, particularly in areas lacking specialized nephrology services. Data from southern Saudi Arabia are scarce. This study aimed to describe the demographic characteristics, etiology, dialysis burden, and clinical outcomes of children with CKD in the Jazan region. A retrospective observational study was conducted at the main specialized pediatric nephrology and dialysis center in southern Saudi Arabia. Medical records of chi

Mechanisms of Plastic Degradation (Abiotic & Biotic): An Approach for Sustainable Environment Development.

Abstract : A paradigm shift from passive persistence to active, expedited removal is required due to the massive production volumes and structurally flawed waste management that are causing the global accumulation of plastic garbage. This study confirms that the key to the solution is to create synergistic hybrid systems that carefully combine biotic machinery with abiotic factors. Biological agents cannot access industrial plastics due to their high molecular weight and crystallinity. Therefore, in order

An Extensive Analysis of Catamixis baccharoides: A critically endangered, endemic plant of the Shiwalik regions of Western Himalayas

Abstract : Locally referred to as "Vispatra," Catamixis baccharoides is a severely endangered endemic plant found in the Shiwalik districts of Garhwal Uttarakhand in the Western Himalayas of India. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Catamixis, which is a member of the Asteraceae family. It is used for pain treatment, especially for joint and muscle pain, and is thought to improve digestive health by calming the gastrointestinal tract because of its economic significance and medical applications.
